Who is at higher risk of corvid-19 ?
High-risk population (very clinically vulnerable)
If you meet the following conditions, you may get coronavirus:
Had an organ transplant
Are undergoing chemotherapy or antibody therapy to treat cancer, including immunotherapy
Lung cancer radiotherapy (radiotherapy) is very stressful
Targeted cancer treatments that can affect the immune system (such as protein kinase inhibitors or PARP inhibitors)
Suffer from blood or bone marrow cancer (such as leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma)
Have had a bone marrow or stem cell transplant in the past 6 months, or are still taking immunosuppressive drugs
Be told by your doctor that you have a serious lung disease (such as cystic fibrosis, severe asthma, or severe COPD)
Illness means you are very likely to be infected (such as SCID or sickle cell)
Are taking drugs that make you more susceptible to infections (such as high-dose steroids or immunosuppressive drugs)
Severe heart disease and pregnancy
Problems with the spleen or the spleen has been removed (splenectomy)
Is an adult with Down syndrome
An adult with dialysis or severe (stage 5) long-term kidney disease
Based on clinical judgment and assessment of your needs, it is classified as a clinically vulnerable population
High-risk population (clinically vulnerable population)
People at moderate risk of coronavirus include:
Over 70 years old
Have a non-serious lung disease (such as asthma, COPD, emphysema or bronchitis)
Suffer from heart disease (such as heart failure)
Have diabetes
Suffer from chronic kidney disease
Have liver disease (such as hepatitis)
Have a disease that affects the brain or nerves (such as Parkinson's disease, motor neuron disease, multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy)
High probability of illness
Are taking drugs that affect the immune system (such as low-dose steroids)
Very obese (BMI of 40 or higher)
